Thanks, Wil, this is a great article, isn't it? Yes, ultimately it wouldn't be in the interest of the current "education regime" to embrace a deschooling approach. That's up to us folks "out on the fringe." :>)

I love this post. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. I had not heard of deschooling, but it completely makes sense.
It really gets you thinking about how the "system" could have gone down this institutionalization of education for so long. Perhaps they didn't see a feasible "deschooling-esque" teaching format that could be implemented given resources in the public school system.
